We begin with a preheated oven at 375 F
•1 package of chicken drumsticks (5)
•1 sleeve of original Ritz crackers
•1 shallow bowl and a fork
• spices (I used adobo, salt, lemon pepper, and mixed Italian spices)
•1 broiler pan with water in the bottom portion
• approximately 1/4c olive oil
Crush up the crackers, use as little or as much seasoning in addition to the crackers as you like, then mix them together with your hands
Coat the chicken with the breading by pressing the chicken into it, sprinkle some on top with your fingers and press that down until they are evenly coated. Lay them over the slots in your broiling pan.
Sprinkle any excess bread crumbs onto the chicken and pan around it. Place into the 375 degree oven in the center for 55 minutes.
When you pull the pan out be careful not to allow the water in the underside to slosh about and burn you. Serve and enjoy!!
** if you are serving your chicken with macaroni and cheese, you can use the crumbs in the pasta to make for an amazing side dish. The same goes for a salad! **
